Kelly earned his chemical engineering degree from the University of Cincinnati in 1996 and has been in the flexible packaging industry ever since. Kelly began his professional career while still in school working in polyethylene synthesis for more than 10 years and then spent the next 15 years in radiation curable coatings and adhesives, reactive gas chemistries of polymer surfaces, laminating adhesives, coatings for labels and packaging, digital printing, and is now a recognized industry thought leader. Today, Kelly works as an agnostic industry advisor to brands, retailers, packaging converters, and industry co-suppliers to provide guidance and insight into making packaging Earth Digestible and, a Profit Center.
