Kyle Miller, M.D., M.B.A., is a physician innovator, leader, and research scientist at Intuitive.
He currently leads the global clinical marketing team who is focused on developing the Intuitive ecosystem and procedure portfolio to meet clinical needs for surgeons worldwide.

Dr. Miller joined Intuitive in 2017 to explore clinical applications for the company’s emerging robotic platforms and digital technologies, including novel clinical applications for the Da Vinci Xi and SP surgical systems, as well as Ion, the company’s endoluminal flexible catheter for emerging fields such as breast surgery, plastic surgery, vascular surgery, and endoluminal applications. In addition, he has played a key role in developing the company’s clinical strategy for its virtual reality software for preoperative planning and intraoperative guidance, including Iris. He has more than a decade of experience in robotic assisted surgery, general surgery, medical research, marketing, and business development.

Dr. Miller obtained his medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and Masters in Business Administration from Texas Tech University Rawls College of Business through a dual degree M.D./M.B.A. program. He then trained in general surgery at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in downtown Chicago, IL. He went on to complete a clinical fellowship at Northwestern University's Center for Device Development where he co-founded Bold Diagnostics, Inc, a medical device company developing a non-invasive blood pressure monitoring device. Prior to joining Intuitive, Dr. Miller helped develop a number of medical device technologies including hand-held radiofrequency ablation (RFA) and smart instrumentation for blood vessel detection. He remains active as a medical illustrator.
